Classes
Hatha Yoga uses postures (asana) and conscious breathing (Pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength and flexibility, and relaxation. Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being.
Vinyasa yoga is a series of postures that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow.
Yin, a quiet, slow-paced style of yoga with poses mostly done on the floor. Yin yoga works deeply into the body, targets connective tissues, scar tissues, ligaments, joints, bones and the deep fascia network of the body, and enhances the flow of Chi in the organs and throughout the body.
Restorative is a practice that leads the yogi toward a more healing and recuperative experience. The practice triggers the parasympathetic nervous system from the very first pose and sets a deeply relaxing tone that comforts your mind and body down to the cellular level.
Yoga Nidra/Deep Relaxation is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. It allows consciousness connects to all the senses and functions at a deeper level of awareness.
Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that had been developed to benefit the senior population to increase mobility and stability, also promote overall wellness. Most poses are done seated or standing using a chair for support and are also suitable for people who have physical limitations.
Prenatal is a combination of gentle flow of modified postures, breath work, meditation and belly dancing that strengthen the body, ease discomforts of pregnancy, also prepare the body and mind for childbirth.
